ON THE ROAD AGAIN

The problem with the car is as I thought - alternator failure.
The thing had to be rebuilt with new brushes and bearings - $380 but at least it didn't have to be a new one. Every part of the Rover is expensive. Hopefully this will mean we won't be stranded again.

Is this seiously to be taken as a post? Over at RBB I post about the meaning of life, but what do we get here? A bloody alternator!
At least on Second's blog you get basic Maori lessons, and a bit of a blogumentary about what qualifications cleaners have.

RBB just asked the question about what is the meaning of life.

Rubbish. We've had the Rover for 15 years. By far it is the best car we've had, not the most expensive, nor the most prestigious but for sheer character it has been unbeaten. Sure things go wrong with it now and again but it is getting old. A few hundred dollars here and there is not a biggie. I remember that you had a problem with your Rover but to be fair, it was more of a Honda than a Rover. The one we have has a Rover motor and was made with a bit of care and attention.
