RETIREE UNIFORMS 2

I saw a guy in the supermarket today dressed a bit like this guy.

I wonder what Richard wears now that he's retired?  Probably long black trousers, black shoes and a chequered shirt.

I don't think he wears shorts.

Nope, don't wear shorts because I'm usually on duty for The Bass Bagging Confederation. There are a lot of meetings to attend and dress is important.

That musty smell is always a giveaway when pensioners go to the closet for their clothes and go out. God bless them.

My clothes are washed every day, thank you.

Thanks Richard.
These young whippersnappers are too quick to criticise us oldies.
I wear shirts, socks and underwear once before washing; shorts and trousers no more than 3 times.

As I dress casually nowadays I don't wear the 'formal' suits, jackets and trousers but these are dry-cleaned and kept in well ventilated wardrobes.

In my experience the musty, unwashed clothes smell that I notice is that worn by young people (I regularly travel by bus from Whangarei to Auckland so am in a position to notice).

Robert is too young to realise all this.
