"For two million years of evolution our brains grew larger but now there has been a reversal!"
I think the brains of those in Southern Whangarei are being effected by emissions from Marsden Point to believe this crap!
I don't think he meant the actual size of the brain but knowledge and reasoning.
I buy into this as Google, social media, TV, and gaming might have given people the ability to quickly access information but it hasn't given them the ability to retain it or to reason out an answer.
That's Eastern Whangarei, not Southern.
I've been saying similar things for a while. Everyone has a fancy phone or device, but they haven't worked out that throwing litter everywhere is a very stupid thing to do. They listen to songs where women are referred to as "my bitch" and a large portion of them believe in an invisible mate who is going to save them. Stop the world, I want to get off! Well, maybe not just yet.
Probably throwing litter is their response to a lack of bins and the ongoing addiction to tobacco that drives the youth further and further from establishments and any hope of owning a quarter acre section.
Though I could be wrong.
