Sale and purchase have both gone through. We're committed now so will be at McLeod Bay on 30 October. Will look forward to visitors - we have the room.
Was listening to your National Radio ...Kathryn Ryan, nine to noon...I'm sure McLeod bay was mentioned! As I recall it is an idealic site not far from the Marsden Refinery. They said some workers kayak across two points to get to work...
I like National Radio and am proud to know that you think it is mine, but no, I don't own it - I've just listened to it for most of my life. A long term investment I think. Yes, there was a half hour segment with Kathryn talking to a guy associated with wildlife preservation/conservation or something. It was very good. He described McLeod Bay very well (and the other bays around Whangarei Heads). Mount Manaia and Mount Albury walks he mentioned are amongst the nicest with dramatic views in NZ. The chap who lives next door to our holiday house in McLeod Bay kayaks to work at Marsden Point. I wonder if it was him they were talking about?

Congratulations! Don't advertise the spare room because The Wine Guy seems to think he's coming too.
Talk about a tag along!
Congratulations. Don't sweat it, somehow it always happens as planned.
