Well, The Old Girl has returned to Canada for the final stint of her secondment there.
We had three wonderful weeks with her back at Christmas/New Year after being separated for five months. Now she will be away for five to six months more, returning in early July.
It's been incredibly hard and the next six months harder but FaceTime and Skype at least keep us in daily contact.
Some friends have asked how we can manage to do this but we have a very strong relationship and, in the last three weeks have slipped seamlessly back into it.
With luck (and planning) I will be able to travel to UK and USA a couple of times in the first half of the year and will take side-trips to Canada or The Old Girl will meet me in NYC or London.
Here's looking forward to July when she will be back permanently.
