It looks like Northland has finally got rid of the nasty weather that's plagued us for the last month. We sent the storms down south to the Hutt Valley which made things relatively easier for us - apart from a few high winds, thunderstorms and persistent rain. Now it looks like things have eased. I can see blue sky and the sun's peeping out from behind some cloud.
I've been housebound for ages so this may be a chance to get out for walks, gardening and maybe a few holes of golf. Tennis days are Tuesday and Thursday (both cancelled this week) and hopefully the weather will be settled next week.
Old Goddy must have been thinking about bringing back the flood for those old bloggers in Wainuiomata and Moera. He gave it a go but then seemed to lose heart as the storm seems to be abating down there. Oh well, maybe it was enough to unsettle them and get them off to church. I'm sure that Shelley would like to get Richard out of the house after his record setting domestic violins practice.
I've got a few small painting, puttying and touch-up jobs around the outside of the house to do along with affixing some trellis that the storm blew down. I need to get this done just in case a prospective buyer comes on the weekend. I'd better get on with it unless Goddy decides to come back to the North.
