Things are not exactly riveting on the blogs this morning.
OK, OK, yes, I slept in and have only just 'fired up' the computer but really .... you should see what those other jokers are doing.
"I had a late night, and I have some jobs to do this morning."
Said Richard in his post this morning.
No detail, no images except for some old vanity shot of him playing a ukulele or a banjo or something. It's a bit of a disappointment.
Mind you at least he hasn't been lurking around our rental apartment in Cuba Street.
There's certainly nothing riveting over at Robert's blog. He hasn't posted for a couple of days and when he did it was in the form of a telegram. He wrote:
"Plan to go up to Feilding Sunday. It's nice going to Mass with my darling; probably get lunch somewhere after"
He's becoming something of a Mass groupie. It reminded me of this segment from Father Ted:
And this:
It's a nice sunny day here so I think I'll head out for a walk. I'll be back later.

Robert chuckles.
I was hoping to get a bat today, but it's fielding again.
Feilding.
No, not when Robert is fielding. Feilding is a town.
Robert chuckles. Have fun Peter but don't sin.
When Peter played soccer his position was Left Right Out.
Rob chuckles at his own joke.
When Richard played rugby he was a hooker but he wasn’t happy.
He wanted to be in the front row because he’d heard that was where all the jaffas were.
He was excited to be in a ruck but he was hard of hearing.
He once took six tight heads but the mechanic made him give them back.
Robert chuckles.
Then he chuckles again but he's not sure why he chuckled in the first place because he missed the humour in most of Peter's jokes.
It's okay Rob. His jokes were hard to get. Did you get a bat today?
No. Fielding again.
I had fun but I didn't sin. It's too hard to get a priest to hear your confession these days.
I could get you a cricket bat for your birthday.
With all that driving he's doing I suggest getting him a golf club.
There are golf clubs everywhere. There's one in Moera.
Maybe you should get som help with your jokes from your grandkids.
Well, I'll ask them for 'som help', whatever that means.
Robert and L didn't want to travel too far for lunch so they went to Orlando Country because of driving range.
I note that the Moera jokes are far superior to the Wainuiomartian ones
