I played tennis this morning even though it was threatening rain and high winds were starting to blow.
After lunch I dozed off in front of the television watching news programmes and was woken by Rod arriving. I'm giving him our dining table and chairs for his son. He's going to help me with taking rubbish to the tip and no doubt a lot of things that I'll be throwing out he will take for himself. Oh well, he has a double garage and a workshop so can smuggle things in without his wife seeing.
I need to get some packing done this afternoon. While, if the house sale goes through the settlement day is not until 13 November, I know that time will pass pretty quickly:
“Time present and time past
Are both perhaps present in time future,
And time future contained in time past.
If all time is eternally present
All time is unredeemable."
T.S Eliot
I think that I will pack away clothing today in suitcases and boxes and store ready for the moving company people later.
Are you sorry you asked now Richard?

Yes, I'm sorry.
I said the some thing twice.
Robert chuckles.
I wonder if a high wind starting to blow is a breeze or a gale?
Maybe like time it is eternally present as both full force and gentle gusts.
Well it's nice that you said something.
Well spotted (try Clearasil) - it was both.
I apologise to my many readers for only writing one post today. Mea culpa.
If you crave blogging of any quantity irrespective of quality, might I refer you to Robert's and Richard's blogs? No need to thank me.
I took your advice. I don’t think I’ll go there again.
Thanks for nothing.
Nothing is the most important thing. it lasts forever.
So that explains why Robert bangs on about god endlessly.
To be honest, I did expect another post by now.
Same.
Sorry, tip run and packing boxes today.
