BLUE MAN
Have you ever been blue? Sometimes a feeling of blueness can hit you which is unrelated to happiness or unhappiness. It just is a feeling of melancholia. We have a Stephanie McEwin painting in the study, above the computer. It is titled 'The Blue Man' and seems fitting for this post. It has been raining really heavily today which is good for my garden and Northland farmers but does little to lift my mood. A nice glass of Chardonnay (not Chardhhay) helps - no doubt The Wine Guy will mention it - and perhaps a funny post from Richard will raise my spirits.
I will arise and go now, for always night and day
I hear lake water lapping with low sounds by the shore;
While I stand on the roadway, or on the pavements grey,
I hear it in the deep heart's core.

Cheer up Comeinyourpants!
If you live with a woman there is always the occasional chance that you might get lucky - dwell on that.
Anyway, school's out!!!
"If you live with a woman there is always the occasional chance that you might get lucky - dwell on that."
She's in Auckland again this week. I live with myself most of the time. How depressing is that. Stick your bloody "School's Out" up your arse or at least go and listen to Alice Cooper.
Sorry Richard (of RBB).
That wasn't me talking it was The Curmudgeon. Congratulations on getting out of school. Have a Chardonnay or two - keep away from that Chadohhay - I think that it comes out of cardboard boxes). I recommend Clearview Beachhead 2009 Chardonnay.
Hey. What the..!
I was feeling a bit down but the Clearview Chardonnay has lifted my spirits. The smell of freshly baked bread is now filling the house with the wholemeal loaf I'm baking ready to come out of the breadmaker adds to my renewed good mood. To cap it off Richard (of RBB) informs me that school has finished for the Summer which means those brainless school mums won't be erratically driving their brats around in the morning and afternoons for the next 6 weeks. Joy!
"Cheer up Comeinyourpants!"
Stiff upper lip old chap. Pick yourself up. Put on a smile.
Just need a good something or other.
Depression is real!
Thanks Second Fiddle but believe me, I don't need to be reminded how real depression and all its variants are.
I hope you're feeling better this morning Comey.
Sorry to hear you're a bit down. It can get to all of us at the oddest times. I remember last month, I saw a Year 10 walk straight into a door, almost knocking him out.
I didn't even laugh.
Think happy thoughts.
Think gorgeous blue seas and sky
Think gorgeous seasonal food
Think gorgeous young ladies, escaping from school, running around in their summer frocks.
Who is this TwistedScottishBastard?
I hope he's not coming from the evil side!
"Who is this TwistedScottishBastard?"

Saty away from Fflur, she's young and innocent.......Well she's innocent anyway. She's too nice for you, leave her alone.
