Robert seemed to take umbrage at my last post and suggested that I was the Anti-Christ!
That was a bit heavy handed I thought.

Anyway, like Groucho marx said - "I don't want to be a member of any club that would accept me"

Caption says: "Somehow I thought the whole thing would be a lot classier"

Ok ... Robert sips a cheap wine ...let's imagine you are God.
You are perfect. None of those Greek or Roman imagined deities. Agree?
There is a big responsibility.
You can not contradict yourself because then you are lesser than your creation. They'll jump on it and cause grieve to you because you as God created these challengers pretty much on par with yourself.
You have to be good to be God.
Let's imagine an ungood God.
It's a contradiction.
God has to be good. He can not be in between.

Bugger!

That started off well and I settled in for a good read.
I thought that, given your long (very long for you) response that we had a debate on our hands and then what happened?
Well, frankly nothing. Some diminishment back to that old 'god is good' crap and 'my god is better than your god' ridiculousness.
A bit of a disappointment really.

Oops!
Wine Guy identification because I started to write a post after a couple of months absence but then talked to the Old Girl on Face Time (she's in Auckland this weekend), cooked dinner and then started listening to the excellent oldies programme on National Radio and haven't yet switched back to The Curmudgeon.

I'm trying to work out this bloody God thing. Then The Curmudgeon claims to be The Wine Guy, or is it the other way around? I'm just glad it's morning and I haven't been drinking!
