Another cracker of a day up here. Blue sky, no wind and as hot as Robert's hell.
I played tennis this morning and then went for a long swim.
This afternoon I've been skulking indoors out of the heat but will be out soon to water the gardens.
I did photograph the macrocarpa table and chairs on the deck and posted a free offer on Facebook. Maybe no-one will want them and I'll have to cut them up and take them to the tip. Even though they are in poor condition someone could still get some use out of them in a back garden maybe, I was honest in the description I posted:
"FREE MACROCARPA OUTDOORS TABLE AND 2 BENCH SEATS
I'll be frank here - these are in very poor condition but are solid and functional. Could be ideal for the backyard. We still use them on our deck but are decluttering and clearing things out so they have to go.
Table is very heavy. will need a trailer to transport.
Measurements:
Table - 165cm long, 104cm wide 78cm high
Benches - 136cm long, 44cm wide, 46cm high"

Well what do you know?
It only took a few minutes for several people to request the table and seats.
Well done. Has that famous old chair that blew over in a little bit of bad weather been removed too? Sad because that could effect my future posts.
A dozen people now want this.
You know that the old chairs got chainsawed and burnt. I posted on this.
I have made that chair famous!
And you destroyed it! This is worse than Robert playing the cello like a deep transposing violin.
It's probably best that I don't tell you about what I did with my bagpipes, my guitar, my grandmother's piano and my brother's kazoo.
The deck furniture was collected today.
