DON'T BE ALLAMA-D

I don't know why we are planning to leave McLeod Bay - oh, OK, I do know ... it's due to the fact that we are fairly isolated here with no public transport, are ageing and the house and property will be hard for us to manage in a few years but, on days like today it's hard to imagine living somewhere else.

It's a beautiful Autumn morning with blue skies, sunshine and no wind.

I went for a long walk first thing and then took a kayak out to check on the mooring I'm planning to buy. It's right out in front of the house (just to the right of the tree at the left of the second photo) so will be a good selling feature for the house.

I was surprised to see a pair of llama in a garden beneath Mount Aubrey on my walk. Given that these animals are mountain creatures I can imagine them heading off up and over the mountain anytime soon. It must be a hell of a job fencing them in. A vanity hobby no doubt by some new 'life-stylers' who've moved in.

There you go.

I hope you read Rob's new post before it disappears. Evidently, men just turned up in pants.

Well, before that he said: “Babylon and Egypt bare witness to the lie of the 'caveman'. “ so maybe pants came later.

"pants in it's widest sense."
In your case that's appropriate.
