I'm not a rabid sports follower but I do like to watch New Zealand play on the world stage regardless of what the code is and whether it's men's or women's sports.
At present Rugby League World Cup 2026 is being contested and, while I'm not a 'league' follower I will take an interest in the games featuring the Kiwis.
I played rugby league for Marist in Wellington when I was young and was good at it.
I later also played soccer and rugby union which I was also good at but never got crazy about it. It was just good fun at the time.
Go the Kiwis and the Kiwi Ferns!
