**AN IMPORTANT UPDATE**

I was all set with a couple of posts on some recent news: - Richard's Big Day out in Wellington; Sex in a Lift; and China's total abandonment of the New Zealand Free Trade agreement but thought that an update on the state of my deck, and in particular, the position of the deck furniture was necessary.

For new readers it's important to know that Richard (of RBB) has an ongoing interest in the state and position of my deck furniture since the publication of a post-storm post in 2016:

LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL

Richard often requests updates and shows concern after any storms we have.

Well, I can share some good news! We have had no storms and as a consequence there has been no displacement of deck furniture.

Wait - I'll show you:

The table, 2 chairs and 2 benches are all in place ready for outdoor leisure activity.

The 'problem' chair is upright and well behaved. Note the shadow that looks remarkably like a double bass player

The matching chair, which incidentally has given no cause for concern is in place. Note the interesting shadow which is reminiscent of an archbishop.

We don't often have the side deck door open but this summer is really hot.

The extremely hot weather necessitates having the double doors and windows open to allow some air movement through the house.

I hope that this allays any concerns you may have had.

You should watch Louis Bunuel's film 'Un Chien Andalou'.
