TWENTY FOUR LITTLE HOURS ...

DINAH WASHINGTON

Yesterday was boiling hot - one of the hottest days we've had so far this summer. I went for two swims and it was too hot to sunbathe let alone do any gardening or other outdoors activity.
The temperature in the house as recorded by our HRV device was 27 degrees and in the roof it reached 50 degrees.

Today after a night of stormy winds the temperature dropped and it's been a day not to go outside, not because of the heat but because of high winds and intermittent rain.

The temperature was 24 degrees in the house and 22 degrees in the roof in the roof.

Go figure.

"22 degrees in the roof in the roof."
This could be the start of a hit song!
What a blogging catch!

The Curmudgeon: Who's there

Richard (of RBB): It's me, Richard.

The Curmudgeon: Are you sure you're not someone from Porlock?
