I think that it is best to leave Wellington to it's own fate and its seven islands.
Wine will be best sent north from Wairarapa and Hawkes Bay and south from Marlborough.
Wellingtonians will have to get used to drinking their home brew or their own urine (which probably taste the same anyway).
