LOONY TUNES

 

The Loony Tunes have been out over the last couple of days with USA inexplicably voting for Trump in huge and unexpected numbers making this a very close race for US president and The Senate.

Why?

Who are these people?

Well, we'll get to that but don't think that the US is alone in having Loony Tunes who think that Donald Trump and his corrupt and sick Republican Party is doing good things for them.

In New Zealand we have  misguided and, in some cases, crazed nutters who think the same and would like to have a similar shithead running things here.

This family in Auckland might well be excused for being Americans living here but it begs the question "why the hell are they living here?"

Where does a guy in Lower Hutt get such ideas? Probably from FOX news, NZ Herald, The Tablet and other right wing publications that he reads along with reactionary misinformation from his Catholic Church and the Catholic apologist podcasts he listens to as a substitution for the voices in his head.

 

In USA the Loony Tunes mostly live in conservative states like Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, Ohio and Florida - all states that gave their souls to Trumpism some years ago. They are the ones who ignore his childish tantrums, his sexual-predator actions, his disastrous domestic and international policies and his maniacal lust for power. The odd thing is, they have experienced all of the shit that he can dish up and yet they have still endorsed him, This is why they can't now claim innocence - they are complicit and are truly Loony Tunes. The ones who said in 2016 that they chose Trump because they thought he represented their values and echoed their own thoughts turned out to be right. In 2020, voting for him again they prove that they are like him - racist, ignorant, belligerent, poorly educated and - a danger to America's ideals, democracy and The Constitution.
