Yes, well, I've said before that Germans don't have a sense of humour and apparently don't have sentimentality either.
We Germans laugh about lots of things. It's just that you'd expect a baby cat to react like that.

ps. Here's a joke you might find funny:
What did the German kid saying when ushed his brother off a cliff?
"Look, mother, no Hans!"
You see, in English, the German name Hans sounds like hands.
I get it! In English ushed suggests ushered which implies he led her of the cliff! Then as he fell he recited his infamous exclamation as he fell to his death watched by his mother from the ledge.
Oh Dear.
