Richard of Richard's Bass Bag has finally woken up to the fact that his tired old blog and its rag-tag bunch of hangers on have been seriously losing market share recently. Their readership is down to, I think, one and that 'one' usually only links in by mistakenly trying to reach The Curmudgeon's blog - such is the state of dereliction of the 'bus station'.

Richard has taken fright at the rise and unprecedented success of CURMUDGEONS INC.ⓒ which has quickly attracted some of the leading blogs on the interwebthingy. He has cobbled together a gang that he calls a 'confederation' I guess he's unaware that 'confederations are doomed to failure - see what happened in the USA and what will soon happen in Australia. His launch of THE BASS BAGGING CONFEDERATION was done on the cheap and was tackily attached to a separate post in which he attempted to slate CURMUDGEONS INC.ⓒ

Obviously he doesn't understand the principles of marketing and he has only succeeded in drawing further attention to CURMUDGEONS INC.ⓒ and its associated blogs.

We at CURMUDGEONS INC.ⓒ don't expect the Base Blogging Consternation to last very long. Its 'members' -

- its members haven't been contributing for some time so that, in desperation, Richard, the gang leader has been trying to recruit new blood. He 's even taken on Bas from Bas's Bag a loser whose application to join CURMUDGEONS INC.ⓒ was turned down as we wish to keep our standards high.
