WHEW!

It's been a big day here at THE CURMUDGEON and indeed for CURMUDGEON INC.ⓒ

BLOG MANAGEMENT

Blog management isn't easy and isn't for the fainthearted. It's no wonder that some lesser blogs self destruct after two or three Posts as the pressure builds up. Of course there are some other lesser blogs that could do with a bit of self destruction but that's another story.
CURMUDGEON INC.ⓒ has successfully established itself, re-organised all of the excellent blogs that make it up and has integrated new blogs into the incorporation. If CURMUDGEON INC.ⓒ were to create an IPO and go public with shares then one day it could be the size of AMAZONⓒ.

But that's for another day. Business is brisk but manageable and, there is the possibility of new blogs being incorporated.

Watch this space.

HOUSEWORK

Yes, you read that correctly. Housework. We at CURMUDGEON INC.ⓒ believe in everyone pulling their weight and respect the contribution made by partners and loved ones. The Old Girl while not writing Posts or managing blogs nevertheless makes her contribution by working and bringing in income. CURMUDGEON INC.ⓒ recognises this and, in consideration allocates some time outside of blogging and blog management to keep the household in order.

Today laundry was the problem challenge task. Once all of the Curmudgeons and Wine Guys were tipped out of bed this morning the sheets, pillow cases  and duvet cover were changed and with some towels and clothing items put in the washing machine - Fisher and Paykel over 10 years old and still going well- then put out on the washing line. It's been a lovely day here so the washing dried out nicely with that yummy 'sunshine smell'.

PLAY

'All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy' and you wouldn't want that would you? If you want dull go to the BBC (not the UK TV and Radio company).
This afternoon I went out and played 9-holes of golf. I haven't played much this year and struggled with the decision whether to take up another years membership ($480 for 9 hole membership). After getting sick last Christmas and New Year and taking several months to recover I didn't really get the benefit out of last years membership. The deciding point was the possibility of Richard (of RBB) coming to visit this summer.

Richard has played golf before and I decided that I needed to be 'on my game' when he arrives. I believe that Richard has recorded a score for an 18-hole round of 156 (it would have been higher but he cheated) recorded for posterity (and club members amusement) at the Marton Golf Club in the Rangitkei District. I don't want to take chances so the more practice the better. I decided to practise. (Richard please note the correct usage of 'practise' and practice'). Today I scored 43 for 9- holes. Could do better but I was happy with that as long as Richard hasn't been getting in some sneaky practise practice.

Yes I remember that score. The sad thing is that, by cheating, I missed out on the prize for last place. Oh well, you live and learn.

Hey, you never know, I might come up in January and give you a hiding on the golf course.

Are you planning a blog the covers outside furniture being blown over? Now that could be a winner?
