HALLELUIA

Well the storm's blown over after a wild night.
Today is warmer and might turn out nice and fine.
The storm has buggered off to Auckland to give them a drenching. I hope that The Old Girl doesn't get a bad flight from Napier today.

I'm going to the local hall this afternoon to listen to The Manaia Singers and The Incredibells - a five octave bell band (they don't come up with band names like that anymore).

Now this won't exactly be my kind of music but it's for a good cause raising funds for the hospice.

Still it could be worse. I could be one of Richard's neighbours having to listen to him practising endless scales on his violin and double bass all day:

"Frère Jacques, Frère Jacques
Dormez-vous, dormez-vous?
Sonnez le matines, sonnez le matines
Ding ding dong, ding ding dong"

The title of this post should have been HELL'S BELLS!
Luckily they introduced each number with the title of the tune.
I won't make disparaging remarks about Richard's music again.
Still, it raised a lot of money for the cause.
