PLACE AND TIME

I found some old photographs of our bay on Neighbourly yesterday.

The bay and surrounding volcanic formations are the same but there have been a lot of changes in vegetation and housing.

I like looking at old photos but sadly so many have been lost.

I wonder what will become of the billions of digital photographs that are being taken today?

How do you make your posts so interesting?

Might be time for another approach.

It's all a matter of comparison. I don't strive for excellence, I just need to make my posts more interesting than yours or Robert's. It's a low bar admittedly but I am old.

Interesting. I found reading the article more boring than the boring guy.

You read the article!

Wow!

Ok, now I see, you go to Sunday Mass and stay awake during the semons.

What's a semon?

Oh. Now I see what your latest comment on your blog was about.

The 'semons' are those boring narratives given by priests and other religious people who are well versed in public speaking and don't use bridging phrases like 'um' and er'.

I hope that this, er, helps.

Yes. Thaks (spelling adjustment done on purpose).

Hey, you and Shelley are welcome to come up and visit for as long as you like 'up here'. Correct spelling is optional and, of course, correct diction will depend on how many glasses of chardonnay we consume.*

* I've stocked up on salty Hawkes Bay, rich and luscious Californian and fat and round Gisborne ones. If you want Marlborough you will have to bring your own.
