"Purple haze all in my eyesDon't know if it's day or nightYou got me blowin', blowin' my mindIs it tomorrow, or just the end of time?
..... Excuse me while I kiss the sky"
You have to be careful of misinterpretation.
Right now the world is at crisis point because of some hasty action by the Americans - forced by that idiot Donald Trump who is most likely looking for distraction from his looming impeachment trial in the Senate and the most recent exposure of his Deutsch Bank loans that were underwritten by Russia.
No wonder the sandbox warrior decided to create a war situation in the Middle East.
The problem is, if you need another problem, is that what Trump and his hawks did in killing Qassem Suleimani was against the constitutional rules of the United States in that approval from Congress is needed before such actions are undertaken. This idiot did a similar thing in his Syrian dealings recently not to mention many other precipitous acts to do with Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, North Korea and other countries. The man is a loose cannon.
Right now hawkish Trump supporters are celebrating the strike against Iran and playing up how bad Suleimani was and what he purportedly intended doing in the future. It's pretty clear that he was a bad bastard and was responsible for many killings but in world diplomacy there are proper ways and silly ways of going about things. This was a silly way and was likely as a result of Trump wanting to both distract people from his personal and political problems and to try to show himself to be a decisive warrior. Both intentions are going to bite him (and us all) on the bum. Trump and his cronies stupidly dismantled the Iran appeasement deal that the Obama administration put together and then continued to harass Iran, Turkey, Syria and Iraq in a schoolyard way - not respecting their cultures, history and opinions and has tried to bully and bluff his way to a Middle East solution. This had failed before this latest event. Now we will see the repercussions. It's very unlikely to be all-out war with Iran but Iran has many proxy armies around the world that will do damage. It's only a matter of time to see if this damage will be short-lived or longer lasting.
The misinterpretation theme in this post is apt as it is the responsibility of the USA to ensure that there isn't too much gung-ho celebration over this but that a non-partisan Congress and Senate settle down and take positive steps toward peaceful solutions. They have to be careful to ensure that everyone understands the background to this and that proper measures will be taken. There cannot be misunderstanding. There will be paybacks, that's a given but there's a lot more at stake here than American hubris and bravado and Trump's political, financial and personal reputation.

"Fortunately I had nothing to do with this and I do not feel a need to take a stand."
Whew, that's a relief.
Just out of interest though, what actions of the United States are you involved with?
Cutting out all references to god will bring it down to a half if you're trying to save time.
This was actually a scary and well written piece. Then Robert turned on the side show lights.
