JASPER* TO THE RESCUE

 * Not that silly alternative earth that Richard dreamed up.

The Jasper in this story is the 8 year old from Hawkes Bay who was interviewed on National Radio today on his involvement in an important recycling exercise. This is worth a listen:

JASPER

Nice and gives me confidence in the younger generations - at least those not involved in ram raids**

** Maybe my next post.

That's sweet. Great work Jasper.

But the recycling instruction says to dump lids!
We stored a pile of lids, and no one collected them.
Where do these lids go?
Pieces of string are tied to them in the Kindy class and the teachers throw them into the landfill when they go home, I suspect.

Do cynics got to hell Robert?

Here's an idea Robert. At Christmas time you could dress up as The Grinch and go up to Havelock North to visit Jasper and his schoolmates.

That interview with Jasper was the best thing I've heard on the news for quite some time in this world of bad news. Or, maybe I'm the one who's wrong.
Maybe I should become a Catholic again and be a miseryguts.
