We buy the Irish brand Barry's tea on-line and have it delivered as it's not available in the shops. We do this because (for us) it's the best tea that we've tasted.
Today the delivery arrived, from a new supplier as our regular one was out of stock.
I opened the box and, with the tea was a complimentary Mackintosh toffee - just one.
I put it on the bench thinking I'd enjoy eating it later and went about doing other things.
When I returned to the kitchen to eat my toffee I discovered that The Old Girl had scoffed it!
How unfair is that?
