THEY CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH

This post is about gardening since the blog readers - Richard and Robert can't handle political posts. They prefer safer ground with reports on musical practice, goings-on at the local church, inventing mythical beings and discussing what they might eat for dinner.

When it comes to politics though they 'can't handle it'.

Robert is one of those ingenues who get their information from right wing media e.g. Fox News, NZ Herald and anything that Mike Hosking says. He believes that: Jacinda Ardern is a communist and, bizarrely also a fascist; the Labour Government is Socialist and that it's a bad thing; National and it's new blancmange, sorry, leader Luxon will be helpful to workers, beneficiaries  and low income people.

Richard is like one of those babies that politicians kiss. The Americans would call him a gas-lit dupe. A pat on the head or a little bottom fondling pleases him as did Chris Bishop at a gig:

Anyway, back to the post.

I tackled the bush and tree growth along the back fence this morning trimming feijoa trees, cutting out an invasive and nasty rose-thorn type thing, pulling out kikuyi grass and ended up nearly filling the trailer again after I emptied it on Monday.

Well, that's it for the post. I'm sorry that I can't report on music practise practice playing or what I'm cooking for dinner as I've got to get ready for school patrol duty.*
