The week so far has been full of news about wankers, bastards, shits, arseholes, cunts, pricks, prick-bastards (The old Girl's favourite expression), idiots, fraudsters, thieves, entitled celebrities, fools, conspiracy theorists and Covid deniers.
Whew! And it's just Thursday.
I don't know. I'm old but I think that the world is getting worse. Ethics, morality, conscience, convention, decency, morality, integrity, honour, honesty, idealism - these are just words, old words and rarely employed ones if you follow what happens in or communities, our country and our world.
In the past few days I've seen on news reports and firsthand the antics of these waste-of-space people:
- Vladimir Putin
- Joe Biden
- Chris Luxon
- Xi Jinping
- Will Smith
- Brian Tamaki
- Grant Dalton
- The Northlanders who stole 1 bedroom cabins off someone's property
- Those guys who drove too fast in their boat
- Letterbox thieves (the contents not the entire letterbox - yet)
- And many, many others.
