Well, maybe not all of you but certainly those who are too silly to continue taking sensible precautions.
Tonight, at 11:59 the country moves to Orange alert status meaning that many of the Covid 10 mandates are being removed. Of particular note restrictions on gathering in bars and nightclubs have been removed. In addition mask wearing regulations have been relaxed from compulsory to voluntary ns most situations.
Watching the TV news this evening I was flabbergasted at the enthusiasm that many people have shown to this change. Interviewees expressed excitement and intentions to go out partying in restaurants, bars and nightclubs to celebrate their new 'freedom'.
Well, fuck me!* People will still have to wear a mask in retail environments but not in schools and cafes and bars and can pogo and bump against as many people as they want while shouting, spitting, kissing and god-knows-what in nightclubs.
They're all going to die.
* That's not mandatory, it's just an expression I use when stupid things frustrate me.

A lot of kids at NLHS don't wear a mask ("I have an exemption!") or don't wear it properly. I promise that, when school returns in a couple of weeks, I'll be wearing mine.

Yes, we shouldn't have to mandate for common sense and individual responsibility.
