I've seen and commented on many obnoxious and socially dangerous television advertisements but Hyundai has taken the cake here.
The above ad (in the link) shows a silly bint driving fast, dangerously and irresponsibly through city streets, farmland and along a coastline.
In this she:
- Fails to put on a seat belt
- Crashes through a parking building barrier arm
- Terrorises pedestrians at a bus stop
- Speeds past school-kids walking on a footpath
- Makes last minute, across lane turns
- Races through puddles and fords
- Tears up a country road send dust over the farmer's crops
- Knocks over a road marker and doesn't stop
- Drives along a fragile coastal edge causing a major slip
All this is supposed to impress potential buyers who ........ wait a minute...... the target market is young women, the female equivalent of the over-powered ute - driving 'tradies' who terrorise the roads. We have a lot of these silly bints up here where I live who drive their souped up biscuit tins thinking that they have driving skills that they don't.
Well done Hyundai.

Well, I can't disagree with this one.
OK Solomon - what's your judgement?
I reckon bury the babies in pole holes.
Yes, if Solomon had come from Wainouiomata that might have been his judgement but ..... back in civilisation .....
Probably a good job that the 1966 3P weren't in charge either.
Father Bliss talked some piss.
Chardonnay?
I assume that by now you are 'prostrate'.
