I've got a couple of tiles to cut but not enough to buy or hire a tile cutter.
The internet 'told' me that a glass cutter would do the job so, after trying three hardware stores and two tile retailers to no avail, The Warehouse provided one. It's a Tolsen.
There were no instructions with this 'precision' tool that came from China so after trying unsuccessfully to cut with the damned thing I went back to the internet to see if I could be enlightened.
There were no videos on the Tolsen tool but I found one on the Tarvol cutter which I guess is what the devious Chinese copied and named Tolsen.
Here's what some twonk informed me:
This idiot spend all the time on the video explaining how to get the fucking piece of shit out of the packaging. In the video stroll down and have a look at the comments made by other readers who feel as frustrated as I do. This is like reading the Catechism to try and understand what Catholics believe in.
The tool I bought is about as useful as tits on a bull, It makes no impression on the tile or, I assume, glass so I might, if I can be bothered take it back to The Warehouse - "where everyone gets a bargain" Yeah right!

I have a tile cutter. It is like a paper guillotine, but with a glass cutter instead of that dangerous thing that could cut your fingers off. Of course you need a course at Weltec and an apprenticeship with a grumpy tile layer to learn how to use it without breaking most of the tiles.
You bought a specialized tool from The Warehouse?!?!
Holy mother of god!
