WAITING ON A QUINTAIN

I said that I'd use sonnets this week but, on looking at old Will's ones the 14 lines required seem a bit onerous. I looked for shorter poems and have already used the  Limerick and Haiuku so  it'll be the English quintain which, as the name suggests, has five lines.

This week my posts will use the English quintain;

ABABB the couplets will rhyme

But they don't have to, all the time.

I fear, even if they're good, an old guy will complain,

With not even a "How do you do?"
