This is a fairly short post!
I was thinking of Robert.
Personally, I've found God a bit wanting when proffering help to Anglicans and atheists.
So, personally, do you have some empirical evidence that God has 'proffered help' to Catholics and non-atheists?
Since the British Empire was mostly concerned with increasing the wealth of a few Lords in England, God no doubt had to step in and help the poor farmers and labourers. I'd call that EMPIRICAL evidence.
