David Seymour was an opponent of the gun control laws brought in by the Labour Government after the terrible Christchurch mosque shootings.
He planned to block an application for leave of the whole House on the legislation, saying the pace was illogical and hazardous but the vainglorious fool wasn't in the House when the vote on the extended sitting hours took because he had been talking to media outside.
Now that he's in a position of power in this current coalition government he wants to bring back unnecessary automatic weapons as basically toys for idiots to play with on gun ranges. What a tosser.

I'm getting sick of this current bunch of bozos making stupid decisions just because they don't like what the previous administration achieved. There's a high degree of peevishness in this that, with the insane gun law change along with the watering down of smoking restrictions, government sector lay-offs, tax changes to assist the underserving, dumping of transport and utility programmes and many others are going to be dangerous and disruptive to New Zealanders.
