MAN UP
Richard commented that he can't get to the computer to write blog posts because Shelley has been using it for work stuff.
I told him to man up and to take control as he's the man of the house.

Personally I think you just become one.

At least that's how I experience my marriage.
I don't take any shit from Shelley.

Okay, she doesn't always listen and I do say it pretty quietly.

No, that's not true as it's impossible. You grow together as a team and develop support mechanisms including love but individuality is essential to a successful marriage otherwise it becomes stifling.

No, not true although through understanding your partner you can anticipate their wants and needs.
"She wants to do the best for you and you for her."
Yes, that's part of the 'contract' and is expected.
