TRYING NOT TO GO NUTS

The lockdown causes people to react in different ways depending on their circumstances and location.

I live in a nice location, next to the sea but we aren't permitted to swim or kayak and cannot play golf or tennis. The spell of bad weather we're having also limits going for walks around the bay or on the bush tracks. Bummer!

I note that other bloggers are showing signs of cabin fever.

Robert has gone mad on making pies. He posted this pic of yesterday's endeavours.

I hope that he put lots of vegetables in those pies or he'll be bound up as well as going nuts.

Richard has been staring out his windows like a pooch locked in a car, running from one side of the house to the other and dreaming about getting out there.

Oh well, it keeps him away from the chardonnay I guess.

For me, thank Robert's god for Netflix, You Tube, the snooker table and my old Play Station 3 with lots of games.

I find that the shoot-em-up games with lots of action and movement make me a bit dizzy now - kind of like motion sickness so have settled on EA Sports Tiger Woods PGA Tour Golf.

I've got 2005, 2006 and 2007 games but have only really played 2005. The two newer ones just aren't as good since they changed the putting and other controls. Years ago I played the game to the maximum levels but am enjoying starting again at the basic level creating new characters to set off on the tour.
It's a great game for being stuck inside. You can create different characters and, using the image making programme, make them look like yourself or someone you know.
If I get really bored I could create a Richard (of RBB) character. If I do I'll take a pic and post it. The trouble with having a Richard (of RBB) character though is that for realism, he should never move off the most basic level*

* At the Wrightsons' Marton golf tournament years ago Richard cheated by not counting a couple of his (many) shots only to discover, at the prize-giving, that thee was a nice prize for being last and he was second to last by one point.

You two would fit in well at Nuova Lazio High School.
