I've mentioned before that we will be getting rid of the wood burner at the end of the house. I have mixed feelings about this as a couple of years ago I had a new flue and bricks installed and it does make the spare lounge cosy in winter.
The Old Girl wants more space though - for I'm not sure what - and we have since installed a heat pump which I guess makes it redundant.
Another thing I'll miss though is its singing.
Today, with the high winds, it's yodelling its little heart out like a Swiss mountaineer.
