There has been, on the blogs some discussion about the quality and quantity of posting. I thought that a demonstration of blog posting styles showing a typical post from Richard, Robert and of course myself is in order.
Richard's will typically have some incomprehensible nonsense about music, followed by a disparaging remark about the Pope or the Catholic Church. There will likely be a snide remark about Robert and some mention of his daily toilet regime.
Robert's will be mostly dominated by a copied and pasted quote from some long-dead religious nutter followed by mention of how he washed his dog, built a garden ornament or stood in a river somewhere. It will conclude with a three word sentence of what he will be having for his tea.
Mine of course will be a beautifully crafted essay from a wide range of topics. Just what you would expect really.
Here goes:
RICHARD'S BASS BAG.
Music students should practice their advised 20-30 minutes as often as they can during the week, but the ones that excel are the ones that never time their practice sessions. They're focused on reaching the goal rather than the time. To recap, check your vision. Is it there? We want to make sure what's fuelling you comes from within. This will be evident when you subconsciously set goals for yourself. Next, how strong is your vision? Can a teacher fuel it? Support, even a little, can take you a long way. Once you reach your goal, you feel the work has paid off- you'll feel like a champion. And being a champ, is fun.― Dietrich Bonhoeffer

'Practise' is the verb. Your depiction of my musical insights is very inaccurate. Probably best to go back to the gardening series. I don't mind when you write bullshit because I know that Robert is the only other person reading it.
It's like poking a bear with a sore head.
Poke is the verb.
